We review Parts 1-3

Servant leader, First Church doctrine originator, we assess as chief apostle Paul is the author of the letter to the Church at Ephesus, located in Asia Minor. While he  contemplatively writes it from his prison cell, and without any online assistance, it is still majorly effective, back then and historically, as it was and still is,  circulated among the many other home, busy micro fellowships.

 

My pioneering apostolic leader mind remarks, “During the time frame when First Church Paul wrote all of those ministry thoughts, nobody ever conceived at how valuable they all were, and are, for all of this was written in a PRE -CHRISTIAN, hustling, bustling enormously multicultural, and widely adventuring, multi ethnic area melting pot.

Therefore, each pioneering leader reader may also wish in effect,  to pen wisely, since no one can truly understand   the Value of any one particular, or several, Holy Spirit inspired MESSAGE(s)…as in a “Word coming from the Living Lord.” Except God Himself, and perhaps, after the passage of much time. (PS right now..should Jesus tarry.)

WE NOTE that due to the multi -realms of majorly significant Spiritual, Natural, Religious, Family, Order,  in which this amazing apostolic Book may be interpreted, (plus even more)  we declare that we mostly assess “true/untrue” spiritual leader doctrines, but with EPHESIANS 4 Community and regional True Spiritual remaining fruit, indeed within ALl “relationships.” However, we also support the other teachings which may apostolically teach using a ministry wide variety of true interpretations.

REVIEW OUTLINE CHAPTER 1: 1-5
Chief apostolic (commissioned to work planting) Paul, writes to the Ephesians fellowship, who have invited Jesus Christ into their hearts as Personal Lord and Savior.  They come from either the Hebrew, Jewish faith background, or the generally pagan Gentiles, multiplied diverse backgrounds.

Apostle Paul sends them upbeat, positive, hopeful and potentially transforming sincere thoughts,  blessings straight from God Himself

NOTE: in the passage below, we note that while the words PREDESTINED is used, that we already covered our non legalistic views on that… in PART 3. So hence I will not delve into that big theological topic

Today, I intend to cover the 1-6 “BOLD” words.

EPHESIANS 1:1-3 AGAIN

“1 Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, to the saints which are at Ephesus, and to the faithful in Christ Jesus:

² Grace be to you, and peace, from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ.

³ Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ:

⁴ According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:

⁵ Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will,

⁶ To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved.

 

VERSE 3

V3 “who has blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places IN CHRIST”

• (Part 2) prior to sending Messiah Jesus Christ, to redeem the fallen human race, person by individual unique person, He already knew the supernatural mysterious, somewhat enigmatic, plans, and methods, many of which would confound the worldly,  human, earthly, logical natural, all  knowing finite mind.
• the assessment of the “all spiritual blessings” are intended for “those in Christ” (who are “born again.”) And as Part 3 reminds us, each and every single human being ever created has their name in the Lamb’s Book of Life which gives them the opportunity to recognize Jesus Christs as eternal Savior or not.
• While the natural human carnal brain usually is not able to perceive and discern and comprehend the “revelation” of all of these, through Bible study and good teaching, it is able to be expounded upon.
  Though the list of SPIRITUAL BLESSINGS is a deep and vast subject, we can point out the basic outline of FREE SPIRITUAL BLESSINGS
• 

 I MAY OMIT MANY, but in the effort to be concise, I mention  at least the following:

• THE PURPOSE FOR JESUS CHRIST COMING (besides Life In Heaven  for Eternity( deeply first involve the spiritual realm, (His power) but then affect the natural relationship, human carnal real Life Realm:
  I John 3:8 “…For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil.”

 

• WHAT ARE (at least some of)  the “works of the  deceptive, accuser devil?
• A few examples: To escape forever death, in total darkness, cut forever off  from the Loving God in the dark burning endless pit of a suffering Hell.
  

 

• While we’re here on Earth:
• TO DESTROY THE WORKS OF THE DEVIL Hebrews 2:14-15  destroy the power of death, and FEAR“...that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil; ¹⁵ And deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage.
  

 

• This also includes power from within, prayer, new God given direction, Holy Spirit “inward witness “guidance” and also “redeemed from the CURSE of  sickness, poverty”. and loss of self control, personal self government, which leads to family, personal, self, ministry suffering, accusation.

 

• NOTE: We all receive though humble grace, yet nobody understands it all and we “see in part, know in part” and many have never taken time to deeply study all of this. So hence the great ministry various wide open studies, diverse opinions.

• His Great GRACE: Christ gave us “FAITH” (“only truly believe” when you pray, no need for works religion. However, we are to obey the Holy Bible ..but not in a legalistic, forced to type manner….but instead, simply we pray, try to do our very best and then also (another FREE GIFT) get to learn how to be discernment based guided by  the “inward leading of God’s Holy Spirit.**

 

• **How does this happen? I comes over time, via good teaching,along with patient practice.  via the unique person’s own abiding close RELATIONSHIP personally with Jesus Christ. And when we do fall, we simply can “again by FAITH” ask His forgiveness. And fully realize that then, all of our Sin is ‘covered , washed away” by His shed Blood on the cruel Cross.
  

 

• GREAT FREE GRACE: Because Christ died on the cross for all of us, He left the longsuffering church  “free unmerited unlimited grace” and took all of the penalties, curses ordered onto those who broke the OT governing laws. (He fully fullfilled every single jot and title of every Levitical Law so that he could give us FREE access to His mercy and GRACE.(He would be the scapegoat, once we accepted Him as our Savior)

 

• REASON:  For the OT high priestly law triggered penalties, accusation, legalism and called down automatically and without any mercy onto the Sinner. NOTE the Old Testament governing laws, required a works based, rules following, legalistic Levitical all adherence. We note; “Galatians 3:13″ “Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree:”
  

 

 

 

 

MORE MIGHTY FREE GIFTS….THE REALM OF GOD’S HOLY SPIRIT….The Acts 2, Galatians 5:22 Holy Spirit:

• HOLY SPIRIT PEACEFUL (Relationship strongly effecting)  FRUITS.
• Galatians 5:22-23 “fruits of the Spirit” “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance(self government, self control): against such there is no law.”

 

• HOLY SPIRIT SPIRITUAL GIFTS: Holy Spirit book of Acts 2 power,likened to Mighty God’s seven wholly Holy eclectic enigmatic, spiritual wonder working, imparting, ministering, empowering SPIRITS: Mentioned in relationship to the foretold Messiah Isaiah 11:2-3:“And the spirit of the Lord shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the Lord;³ And shall make him of quick understanding in the fear of the Lord: and he shall not judge after the sight of his eyes, neither reprove after the hearing of his ears:

• THE OFFICIAL LIFT OF SPIRITUAL GIFTS**
• The   1 Corinthians 12:8-10  spiritual gifts:
• The word of wisdom
• The word of knowledge
• Faith
• Gifts of healing
• Workings of miracles
• Prophecy
• Discerning of spirits
• Different kinds of tongues
• Interpretation of tongues
• Later mentioned gifts of helping, administration

A DIFFERENT VERSE: VERSE 4

• ^{Chapter 1:4} According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:

 

This verse addresses the Jesus Christ accepting Church. It reveals the affection the Father has for them, “chosen before the world was even formed…God understood that sin would come in the Garden, and that first person Adam and Eve’s choices would force God’s wholly Holy Spirit to depart.(his glory cannot abide in the presence of fallen human carnal nature, sin)

Father God had planned ahead for Jesus Christ, His Son, to come to pay the price for every individual’s own sin…so that instead of observing ‘sin” in everyone…He would then view each saved person as “blood washed and covered” and therefore “blameless’ (by their, each of our gift of determined, free faith!)

“that we should be holy and without blame before him, in love”

 

Let’s close it here. Had planned to go on 1-2 more verses. But it’s pretty long at this point, as well as deep..so we’ll do Ephesians 1: 4-6 Lord enabling next time.
