PARTY CHEESE BALL

16 ounces low fat, nonfat or regular cream cheese

1 -8 ounce can crushed pineapple (drained)

1 cup chopped pecans

1/4 cup minced green bell pepper

2 tablespoons minced onion

1 tablespoon seasoning salt

fresh parsley or more finely chopped nuts (save this for the decoration outside)

 

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Soften the cream cheese

  2. Add all of the other ingredients ( but not the topping)

  3. Form into a ball.

  4. Roll in parsley or finely chopped nuts

NOTE: This can be made in advance and frozen)

Remove from refrigerator (about 30-35 minutes) to before serving.

Serve with whole grain crackers or thin sliced baguettes hard toast
