We’ve had someone lately who unfairly (meaning, someone who never cared to respectfully set up a face-to-face office appointment to speak in person and verify things). This same, same person said—after scanning my many websites conveyed over email (how safe!)—that I was a cunning, deceitful Christian fake.
He was livid when I said I had PhDs (which, by the way, was taken way out of context). Yet surely, he was a white male, evangelical Boys Club, word-cursing cessationist… who’s never left his small-sized but growing Deep South Bible Belt town. A “knee-jerk reactionary” (say “typical”).
However, I am merry—I laughed! Another LOL… Let them think that.
Yet—it reminded me to speak on these things and repost my hard-to-find BELIEFS (which are now on every site—see beneath).
Do take note of MYSELF and IT—and the grabbing for titles, degrees (over here, as a pastor, person, tribal movement founder—not all white—with an EORR Cross-Body Unity focus).
I regretfully must admit: I tend to favor non-title but anointed Bible-pure authority, with or without degrees (I am made that way). An “old Jesus person,” but NEW EORR (Equal Opportunity REAL Respect) and Cross-Body Unity. Multicultural, accepting, big-flavor Christian leader—new movement.
Yet, I find myself growing more respectful of the Ministry Office Titles—the real deal: true Apostles, Pastors, Teachers, Prophets, and witnessing Evangelists.
So please bear with me—it’s a long message—as I speak as one sent, a kind of Noah to “most of these” listed below. Also known, with a bit of humor and truth, as someone with a PhD in Pretty Hard Days (and yes, sometimes “Piled High and Deep”)—all of which I go into at length in the video.
In other words: bypass the negative nay-sayers, the gossiping “seer-diviners,” the biased faultfinders, and the anti-women cessationists.
Forget the usual stereotypes about Christian ministry, the hearsay, the dismissive voices—and hear it directly, straight from TD’s own respectful, non-country-law mouth.

Excerpt from My Autobiography – Clearing the Record
NOTE: In this “basically full-disclosure autobiography,” there are names I have intentionally not mentioned—to spare them. However, these same individuals were directly involved in both my 1996 ordination and the honorary PhD in Sacred Music I received. I could name them now due to the ongoing need for truth and transparency—but I choose not to.
Why? Because what happened next was betrayal, done without any effort to follow biblical guidelines such as Galatians 6:1 or Matthew 18:15–16. At the time, I was left completely alone, with no staff support and holding responsibility for a leased building that we had all agreed the top senior ministry would lease and support.
What Happened
By people in Christian “Top Office Senior Authority,” I was:

Undermined

Spoken against
-
Betrayed
-
Devalued
They went behind my back and sabotaged me—Judas-style—to a trusted minister and the tiny staff we had. This completely thwarted the work of God in that regional area. I was left personally responsible for the remaining lease payments—over $7,240.
I’m not telling this story for sympathy. I tell it to explain the pattern, the dynamic—because it’s not unique. It represents a common form of grassroots ministry betrayal, fueled by misunderstanding, jealousy, and religious pride. And it’s one of the reasons I eventually withdrew from those circles.
I still honor the Christian human person. But I was aware I had been given more biblical understanding and spiritual maturity than some of the leadership I encountered. That’s not arrogance—it’s discernment. I don’t apologize for having walked in well-ordered, respectful, and non-hierarchical ministry—with no obsession over titles, money, or the “pecking order.”
It’s now time to move forward, but I also must clear my name, which was quietly tarnished for years by lies and passive slander. I also has made look like a phoney for I would reveal about the ordination in 1996, for I did want to hurt their reputation for I had, up until this INCIDENT trusted him, mainly him, as family.
Why the Accusations Happened
I was involved in a broad Christian community, knowing many local and regional senior pastors and bishops from both suburban and urban ministry circles. I met my oversight for the UMPIRE 501c3 in this context, as well as the leaders I was ordained under. However, I was never ordained in a legalistic way. I loved and respected these leaders.
At the same time, I had MY BOARD board, accountability partners, and mature female leaders in my life—my mother, aunt, sister, and other pastors’ wives—whom I listened to for guidance. Many of these senior leaders also served as personal family friends, offering both board and personal accountability. Additionally, I was married and a mother of two children. I was particularly cautious about being “ordained” due to my own immaturity at the time. I wasn’t raised in Pentecostal or Charismatic traditions, nor under what I refer to as “covering” or “shepherding” (my term for Levitical Patriarchalism), which is where the big difficulty began.
I didn’t place much importance on titles, but they were very popular in the area among “spirit-filled” ministries, and I spent the most time with them.
In retrospect, education and Christian tradition—along with the culture at the time—made this a significant issue. I didn’t fully understand the ramifications of others’ views on “big titles,” and they didn’t understand or respect my views.
Once again I had my own life, both in ministry and personally. We didn’t fellowship often, but when we did, it was fine. I came from a long line of deeply educated Bible teachers—both men and women, senior pastors with strong teaching and prophetic roots. There was no obsession with titles in my family or spiritual circles.
1990s on…
It was a time in U.S. ministry when the growing popularity of Christian TV created “heroic” figures—apostles, pastors, bishops, and so on—who became widely celebrated. Many smaller, newer ministries felt pressure to conform to this model, including myself for a time. Many of these ministries claimed spiritual authority, often without much theological depth or education.
“Being ORDAINED” had gotten big. And I wanted to be sure to be GOD-QUALIFIED to be in a bigger senior office ministry.
But in 2025 now, while I still respect it—and “back then,” them—I have forgotten all of that, and believe it is up to each person to decide. I do not need it.
I identify as a Galatians 1:1–2, Acts 17:17 minister, who is Ephesians 5:21—“mutually submitted to all,” as the very first church was.
I am, however, practicing being accountable if the right GOD-SENT Christian husband comes along. This Deborah-office type will welcome a GOD-SENT Lapidoth.
But if one is not sent, then that’s okay—she is not looking.
(1 Timothy 6:6 — “Godliness with contentment is great gain.”)
Even though I loved and respected the apostolic titled pastor and wife, my spirit balked at the formal, overemphasized worship of titles like Apostle, Pastor, Bishop, and so forth. Still, I honored their views and continued to do what I believed was right in my part of the region, which was about 40 minutes away from their ministry.
I saw the ordination as a quality blessing. But I still understood the biblical principle of “safety in a multitude of counselors” and, at the time, (and I still believe this NOW) ..I believed in not placing all my trust in any one ministry. This principle became especially important to me after the scandals of Jim Bakker and Jimmy Swaggart in the late 1980s. This happened long before I met the couple who later became involved in the controversy.
When I sought the Lord about the fallen charismatic ministers, He gave me a warning verse from Micah 7:5:
“Do not trust in a neighbor; do not put confidence in a friend; from her who lies in your bosom, guard your gates.”
This verse reminded me to place my trust only in God. To this day, I still follow this counsel, and I also now add Psalm 118:8-9:
“It is better to take refuge in the Lord than to trust in man. It is better to take refuge in the Lord than to trust in princes.”

This pleasant person didn’t think my wider accountability and spiritual freedom would be a problem. After all, I wasn’t under the Law. Southern Baptists (my early background) don’t practice top-down Levitical patriarchy or demand “bowing and scraping.”

But it turned out that many of the others had not been raised in freedom—they didn’t know how to walk in shared authority or open communication. (or even proper Bible protocol AND ministry polite manners : MEANING Galatians 6:1 top leader confront one to one, face to face meekly IN PRIVATE) not backstabbing .
The Trigger Incident
At the time, I had a new associate couple on staff—deep, quality ministers. I took them with me one Sunday to a meeting with a “top pastor” I respected, wanting them to meet and hear him. That, in hindsight, was my big mistake.
During the service, that apostle said something from the pulpit that deeply disturbed me. He turned to his wife and said something like, “I can’t wait to get you to the bedroom”—”FROM THE PULPIT in a sermon…meaning publicly, in front of the whole room.
As the senior leader of my team, I was shocked,embarrassed and deeply chagrinned..—especially in front of the staff I had brought. It was their first time getting to know that church and HIM.
Later, after I back in my region, I wrote the pastor a calm, honest email, explaining that I had been upset by his comment.
Little did I know that his wife would read the email, become angry, and then—without ever coming to me directly—go behind my back and stir up the associate couple I had brought with me. That caused them to become angry and leave, without a word of confrontation
But I was attacked, savagely retaliated against, and faced satanic evil retaliation—also bias—because I was cautious. They had all emotionally bonded. There was no calm confrontation, no respect, and no love.
And due to what? Not because of me—it was because of them. They lacked backbone, were sly, and had no understanding of proper Christian confrontation, relationship values, honor, fairness, ministry protocol, or office maturity.
Yet, that was back 2003 and I have never shared it until now. And I don’t carry grudges so I shall not give their Christian names.
My Own Valued “Trusted Oversight’ and Both Staff Malicious Betrayal

Ponder: the worship of titles, which this always was, was due to ignorance, not knowing, but I DID KNOW yet I did not know how BIG IT WAS to both of them.
PS I truly trusted that sage couple. I never imagined they would go behind my back instead of coming to me directly. They had issues with me, clearly—but instead of godly confrontation, they chose silent sabotage. Why?
Fear? Pride? Immaturity? I can’t say. All I know is that I was never given the respect of direct communication as the ministry head. Instead, they went to my second in command, a couple of their own race, and stirred up conflict.
The rest was a heartbreaking case of the Absalom spirit and Judas betrayal.
So, chalk all of this up to: Titles are about the person, not the truth of Christ. It’s the character, the love, and the value of the other person that truly matters. And I speak all of this due to the principal and about WHY I view TITLES warily.
ASIDE NOTE (2025): I researched the First Church Ephesians 5 fold office titles. Ephesians 5:21 was about First Church leaders, offices, elders, laypeople, and married couples. There were no big “I’s” and no big titles. They viewed these roles as functions—servant leaders, with no Godly turf protecting. That’s how I view it now.

2004 Sacred Music Honorary PhD: The other, “That Person” I soon realized that could not trust or respect…after I did the work he requested (An entire music college curriculum from natural, real music training but also from the Bible music,worship history training) And office He was in one state, I in another, however, we had spoken, and seen each other face to face…and then he later conferred the degree” …yet, once I got back home (for I went there to guest worship and to see his area) But when I went home…I never heard from back from the Presidential Him… other than his multiple …requests for money (he had the gall to request that I help HIM found Richmond, VA “college branches” ( So life goes in the grace roots small time ministries) Assess (Big Dysfunctional and AWFUL…” However, God redeems everything for His Good…I got a full dose, hard reality check, personal life altering challenge (For the Naive EARNED A PhD in THAT very large “Learning Curse” for I had been reared an educated, sheltered more respectful Southern Baptist sr pastor’s daughter..and this WAS ALL Fame being Effected, Ministry Spirit Filled…
So I realize what REALLY GOES ON outside of the safe Squire type of Christian sr ministry in the mega media and celebrity circus.the perfect coiff, suits, dress down ,Big Titles, wearing collars.Protocol, chief non white pecking order,

LOL …Hence I take every degree and/or human person with a giant grain of salt. So, you legalists about things like this (usually closet self important I watch YOUR LIFE FRUIT.

YET MY OWN PICK WAS DECIDED BY THE LORD
At one point, I asked the Lord, “Shall I go to Bible college or seminary?” All of my family had attended somewhere to further their Bible knowledge. But when I asked that question, the Lord dropped this verse into my spirit as I drove down the highway: “You will have no need that any man shall teach you, but the Holy Spirit will be your teacher.”
This is a complex matter and requires deep explanation, as it could easily be misconstrued or misunderstood as “osmosis” or something flaky. When energy and time permit, I will share more about this. But this is how the Taveau Teacher and Life Work began.

Back Story
Learned about BIAS: Paul said, “I determined not to know anything about anybody except Christ and Him crucified.”
The Faith Movement teaches: “Holy faith is not moved by what it sees, hears, thinks, or feels. It is only moved by the Word of God and the inward witness of the Holy Spirit.” (This is one of my life’s credos.)
I apologize to those who would like to know “the real deal scoop.” For I am valid and true. Besides, you would know all of this without the titles or degrees, without any of that “self-important” temporal stuff—if you truly knew me.
And that is why I make it known that I DO NOT WIELD TITLES, and if I must use one, I use it with declaration. It is tied to the ministry I follow. Note my PhD (Pretty Hard Days) earned degree: Psalm 144 — “You need to beware of the ministry’s strange children.”
It’s been revealed, in a relationship, over a period of time in the School of Hard Knocks. Hence the “Dr T ” many references “PhD “Pretty Hard Days” PhD “Piled High and Deep DFW PhD “Dallas Finest and it’s Worst” Plus Taveau received and honorary PhD in Sacred Music from a multicultural college (for writing the black college curriculum for Music from both the natural and Bible scripture perspective) Taveau also has a BA in Comparative Religion for she dropped of being music major due to the cattiness.
