JOB 41:1-10 REPRISE

TODAY I go in depth through the START of  JOB 41 with MY OWN COMMENTARY immediately following each verse. NOTE: the following comments are my own realistic submitted thoughts

 

The writer submits that this is GOD humbling JOB by showing him his own powerlessness to stand before this Leviathan. The writer always pictured the Job 41 Leviathan resembling the Loch Ness Monster…

 

But while this is not a perfect realistic view (some ministry commentaries Leviathan might have ben a crocodile or whale)…the NON serpentine writer,who has seen various Bible commentaries, some of which show view it as a giant swimming snake, she prefers to use the latter for the final last 2 PARTS of this Dr T Daily Notes Series)

FIRST: We need to take a quick peak at the end of JOB CHAPTER 41, in order to see WHAT the symbol of the Leviathan represents:

JOB 41:33-34 Upon earth there is not his like, who is made without fear.He beholdeth all high things: he is a king over all the children of pride.”

NOW WE PROCEED

 

SECOND JOB 41: Line by Line

41 Canst thou draw out leviathan with an hook? or his tongue with a cord which thou lettest down?
“It’s very very hard to catch that sneaky strong willed big rascal!”

 

2 Canst thou put an hook into his nose? or bore his jaw through with a thorn?
“As of right now, after many millenniums, no one has ever figured out a method to completely get rid of the avoiding, manipulative, super strong, deceptive, slippery old serpent. He is intertwined in the world system of Fallen Humankind, in both men and women, off all ages, races, nations, governments, institutions and authority/systems. ”

 

3 Will he make many supplications unto thee? will he speak soft words unto thee?

“The sneaky serpent, Leviathan, often uses entreating, imploring, wooing, subtlety. He often uses deceptive big sly winsome, wooing, flattery and cunning to get what he truly wants.”

4 Will he make a covenant with thee? wilt thou take him for a servant for ever?

“At other (opportunistic) times, the Leviathan will act agreeable, be reasonable, even appear to be humble,co-operative, even “on your side” or willing to co-operate, and to join your team or even strike a formal legal agreement.

 

He will then appear to be so genuine, winsome….for only one sole purpose: in order to make us fall into his cunning trap…to draw you in, to make us entangled…then afterward he reveals himself in his true colors…and as it is too late, the legal, emotional or societal, bond has been set, making it very difficult to escape from /to withdraw from without many great, deep, negative big consequences.”

 

5 Wilt thou play with him as with a bird? or wilt thou bind him for thy maidens?
“The deceptive cunning skill of any relationship with the sneaky Leviathan, may appear to be joyful, even playful and light and airy. Yet, similar to a bird…it is hard to catch and will fly away in a split second.”

 

And while it may seem totally nice, sweet, charming and completely appear to be someone, something innocent, if one tries to pin it down, to apply pressure on it’s flesh, true dominating, possessive, argumentative, self righteous All Only About Me true spirit…it will leave in and FLY AWAY in a heart beat.”

 

This is a demonized(manifested OR super sly) and accusative spirit, which shows itself (in only one visible spiritual, noticeable FRUIT) as acutely SELF CENTERED, SELF PRESERVING, NOT ONE BIT OTHER CENTERED/ RELATIONSHIP RELIABLE

 

6 Shall the companions make a banquet of him? shall they part him among the merchants?
“Can even a large group of people, a Christian team, make mincemeat of, to fully overcome, to conquer, in order to finally get RID OF this deceptive creature?

Can they dismember him in order to sprat out all of it’s pieces…to lessen it’s supernatural dark deceptive, undermining power….even sell them off (like putting it into the butcher market) to make sure to have a final END of him and his many strong dark demonic powers?”

In a word: No.

 

7 Canst thou fill his skin with barbed irons? or his head with fish spears?
Again, are there any types of earthly human weapons might overcome him FINALLY and get rid of the big Leviathan PERMANENTLY? AND might it be possible to disfigure him, penetrate his apparent power, or to weight him down and overcome him in that fashion?

The Answer: No.

8 Lay thine hand upon him, remember the battle, do no more.

IF you to upfront confront or put a stop to this will entitled, All About Me, vain, even leader, accuser spirit, and then you will really find out HIS /HER TRUE NATURE…they will put up a big fight, argue, even resort to rage, and using demeaning, abusive, assault, demonic language with/without physical action, to dominate, and to get what THEY really WANT.

But if you lay a hand on them…then World War 3 is likely to break out!

Thus the Bible says (Proverbs 22:24) to use big caution: “Have nothing to do with an angry man/woman.” As their inner POWER SOURCE is not from ABOVE but from BELOW.

 

9 Behold, the hope of him is in vain: shall not one be cast down even at the sight of him?

A MODERN EXAMPLE:

IN the light of the aura of superior pride, this wide world’s ritz and glamor, elevated pulpits, TV and movie big stars….and with all of the daily high tech, ministry bells and whistles, lights and media TV world wide cameras, the glare of the SPOTLIGHTS of this fleeting world make many lower themselves down, if they are humble /or insecure…and loose their own voice, God given conscience, to not be put under enormous Leviathan accuser mental/emotional PEER PRESSURE to big time dummy down and CONFORM.

V.10 None is so fierce that dare stir him up: who then is able to stand before me?
Proverbs 13:10 “Only by (Leviathan fueled )PRIDE comes contention.”(fighting, arguing, shows of ill temper, striking, disrespect, cursing, other accusing, provoking strife, refusing to work things out, withstanding, holding bitter unforgiveness)

 

HELPFUL BIBLE DISCERNMENT TEST: The spiritual FRUIT of the proud Leviathan spirit, minister, friend, family, even YOU or I, will be the opposite of JAMES 3:17″
“The wisdom that comes from above is first PURE, PEACEABLE, EASILY ENTREATED, FULL OF MERCY and GOOD FRUIT, WITHOUT PARTIALITY and without HYPOCRISY.”
