THE PREVIEW TO THE GATEKEEPING
(NONE TOO SMALL) SERIES
NOTE: these days these kinds of “prophets” “apostles in our gates’ cannot “discern, perceive” the difference in an Elijah Type, just sitting there, relaxing in the service as opposed to a “witch” “Jezebel” “underminer” (Rather a lot of these function well in the big gifts, mostly the discernment of (many) TYPECASTS)
REASON?
1. Leadership Isaiah 1-3
2. Produces leaders Isaiah 5:20 “THE MAJOR WOE”
3. Which withstands and blocks God’s national Holy Spirit empowering, chiefly protecting, also preserving REAL MOVE (Isaiah 10:27)
YET, WHY SUCH A “WOE?”
Psalm 115:4-8 explains

For the Big Boss Authoritarians in Our Country
The Point: Please understand this particular “human persons” perspective
Due to “free” Bible believing, human subculture I was raised in (“freedom in the things of Christ”) It never occurred to me that I was not liberated to be and to do and to go after WHATEVER GOD SAID. So I honestly have!
PS NOTE: I was never, ever interested in becoming a woman pastor, woman leader, or woman anything — only a servant of the Lord among an often egregious people.
I was raised tamed Baptist,(Southern, not Bible stomper OR fundatmentalist) but with a question theological and pragmatic real brain.
Also a pastor’s daughter,(the first born by 8 years) but the so-called “men versus women” debate in Christianity never concerned me.. Here is perhaps WHY: I was raised respected. valued and educated, calmly, fairly and not targeted, accused, biased against.
And, in quality mature non Phariseeical leader hindsight, I now realize that I was never or under Levitical Patriarchy (“LP”), L Matriarchy. OR Unjust Accusing Law (any Pharisee legalism) My father himself was (compared to many right now) equally yoked and liberated — he and my mother modeled Ephesians 5:21: mutual respect and mutual submission, both in ministry and in marriage.
So did my grandparents on both sides. They were servant leaders with authority — not authority without servant leadership.
And Sr Pastor M. Kimball Johnson, Jr. wasn’t Pentecostal — none of us were. He was a Baptist pastor, ordained at Louisville Seminary in Kentucky, similar to a quiet cessationist (though he never would have compared to the way is out there NOW (Vitriolic, Flame throwing, Calling Out the Shots over ALL US US) No, MY Christian wise father minded HIS OWN non legalistic BUSINESS. and I only use “THAT C WORD only to contrast and make the point with GIANT VOCAL VITRIOL Finger Pointing Crowd who is out there NOT “respresenting that” NO, my Father, is a mild, gentle, compassion ..yet not “going for” the Books of Acts forms, And in my own mind I refer to his voice, his choices as similar to the quiet ‘lowercase letter “c’ (servant hearted views) REASON..for he was definitely NOT a SPIRITUAL FLAME THROWER). He simply believed the baptism of the Holy Spirit had ended with the apostles. Also, very mild and accepting of any who accepted, which I and later my mother, sister, aunt and many relatives did. I’m neither for nor against that position — I was for him and his TRUE DEAL both public and mainly private LIFE…for He was the CLUE to Christ’s Father’s HEART and Creator Fathers’ NATURE..but later.
My Just (non acclaimed, pure loving Father) was a true Christian, a humble servant of God. And I was given MUCH GRACE to do this now, based on HIS LOVE, PEACE, SECURITY and that of my mom, too, aunt, grandmothers and more. I walk out according to Apostle Paul Philippians 2:12 with each of you..and you can with me.
So I grew up respected and taught that men and women are equal teammates (marriage, ministry chain of command..not unyielding accusative, controlling law) — true to Apostle Paul’s Ephesians 5:21: “submitting yourselves one to another in the fear of God.” This shaped my worldview: people of every race, male and female, are equal before the Lord — and any teaching that denies this is suspect.
That foundation helps me clearly see Levitical Patriarchism, Big Boss authoritarianism, and false gatekeeping for what they are: unfair, false teachings that twist the nature of servant leadership. They now spill over into misguided prophetic “ministries,” even flirting with psychic control and divination disguised as the Holy Spirit.
I’m not against any sincere believer, nor any move of the Holy Spirit rightly discerned. But I’ve seen too much gatekeeping — poisonous, biased, and especially unjust toward women — in certain streams of modern charismatic, prophetic, and apostolic circles.
Mature Office Pastors Note:
For decades I never cared about “making a statement for women” — because I never needed to. But now, after walking among these streams for over fifty years, I see how deep the injustice runs — and so I must speak.
So before we get to the main teaching, please receive this as my honest preface: I speak not to wound, but to warn and help. May the Lord use this to set captives free!
NEXT:
I recently made the upcoming video Toxic Minstry Gatekeeping) to teach and advise about toxic dysfunctional gatekeeping—an experience I have personally endured for the sake of the Gospel. This painful reality has triggered much gossip, accusation, violence, senseless spiritual warfare, and bias against me.
Had it not been for being raised in a family of genuine Christians—true theological Berean scholars, both women and men, including my father who was ordained in the Southern Baptist ministry and graduated from Louisville Theological Seminary, as well as many Black and White non-traditional, Spirit-filled servant leaders who spoke in tongues but carried humility—I would not have withstood this trial.
I deeply value and honor all of these role models, especially their fairness, accountability, and respectful, peaceful calm mindset. As I endured shame, false religion, and buffeting—usually silently tested—I now admonish, advise, and warn others, mostly women, who are singled out by gender and appearance, made to feel substandard and disrespected, treated as if personal property under Levitical patriarchal and matriarchal control.
Because I was valued and not raised under such oppression, I can clearly see the vast difference between disrespectful and respectful ministry cultures. This has been my lifelong experience. I have always known how valuable good parenting and godly role models are—those not bound by shame, religious legalism, or controlling Pharisaical bias.
Sadly, this is the reality of the United States’ vast religious landscape—especially among WASP and well-to-do circles—that are thorny, anti-female, prone to accusation, name-calling, gossip, and believing evil reports. It is often opportunistic and “mammon-centric,” with a strong-willed, sometimes vulture-like culture.
Dysfunctional Gatekeeping in Ministry: A Warning and a Call to Biblical Truth
Partially my testimony which raised. the RED FLAG about USA Body Of Christ Ministry MATURITY AND AUTHORITY , TRUE AND UNTRUE DOCTRINES in these.
I just taught a ministry leader training video basic title DYSFUNCTIONAL GATEKEEPING, where someone cited the tradition “Let your women keep silence in the churches” (1 Corinthians 14:34). This prompted me to share my experience and biblical insight on this issue, which often causes emotional harm and spiritual confusion.
POINT 1: My Silence Was Not Submission to Unbiblical Control
I was silent, yes—but not because I agreed with this abusive tradition. I had endured much emotional abuse and trauma, especially within dysfunctional ministry circles in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. I came out of that season to heal and receive clear direction from the Lord for my own Senior Office in the Body of Christ.
I was never “their woman.”
I was not an acquaintance, not a friend, not a church member under their authority. I was not part of their prophetic or seer networks. I was family, a stranger walking in daily, curious about Scripture, especially about Paul and the role of women in the church
POINT 2: Understanding Paul’s Teachings on Women in the Church
The often-quoted verse, “Let your women keep silence in the churches” (1 Corinthians 14:34), is frequently misapplied as a universal, timeless law. But Paul’s instructions were cultural and situational, not absolute for all time.
Consider this:
-
Paul honored a female apostle named Junia (Romans 16:7, KJV):
“Salute Andronicus and Junia, my kinsmen, and my fellow prisoners, who are of note among the apostles, who also were in Christ before me.” -
The suppression of women in church arose centuries later, around the 3rd-4th century, coinciding with Constantine’s establishment of hierarchical, orthodox church structure — a top-down model that sidelined women.
The early church was organic, communal, and decentralized — “no one over all,” but rather “all members having mutual care” (1 Corinthians 12). It was not about private turf or authoritarian “big boss man” control.
POINT 3: I Sat in Quiet Calm, Reflecting Godly Character
In the midst of emotional scarring and spiritual abuse, I remained calm and approachable — exhibiting the wisdom described in Scripture:
-
James 3:17 (KJV):
“But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy.” -
Galatians 5:22-23 (KJV):
“But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.”
So, why attend these toxic settings? Only the Lord knows, but these experiences revealed the need for correction and biblical clarity
POINT 4: The Historical Roots of Anti-Woman Church Traditions
European history helps us understand where these attitudes came from:
-
The infamous German monk who led the Witch Inquisition wrote The Hammer of the Witch (Malleus Maleficarum), a treatise still available today, which deeply influenced suspicion and persecution of women.
-
Early American Puritan patriarchs who came on the Mayflower, though many were genuine Christians, also carried suspicion and occult-like “inner readings” of women, as seen in the Salem Witch Trials — based on subjective spectral evidence.
Sadly, these occultish and controlling patterns persist today in certain ministries.
POINT 5: Cultish Gatekeeping Is a Dangerous Spirit
These “psychic gatekeepers” often claim apostolic and prophetic authority, ruling over locales and networks with pride, deeming themselves above others.
But the Bible warns:
-
Psalm 144:7-11 (KJV):
“Stretch forth thy hand from above; rid me, and deliver me out of great waters, from the hand of strange children;
Whose mouth speaketh vanity, and their right hand is a right hand of falsehood.
I will sing a new song unto thee, O God: upon a psaltery and an instrument of ten strings will I sing praises unto thee.
It is he that giveth salvation unto kings: who delivereth David his servant from the hurtful sword.
Rid me, and deliver me from the hand of strange children, whose mouth speaketh vanity, and their right hand is a right hand of falsehood.” -
2 Timothy 3:1-5 (KJV):
“This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.
For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,
Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,
Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;
Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.” -
1 Timothy 6:5 (KJV):
“Perverse disputing of men of corrupt minds, and destitute of the truth, supposing that gain is godliness: from such withdraw thyself.” - EGO IS OUT..as is the supreme “knee jerk accusation, Big Boss bias”
POINT 6: Biblical Protocol for Ministry Correction
These gatekeepers often neglect biblical respect and ministry protocol. True ministry involves relationship, restoration, and humility—not domination or occult control.
Key scriptures to uphold:
-
Isaiah 1:18 (KJV):
“Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.” -
1 John 1:7 (KJV):
“But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.” -
Galatians 6:1 (KJV):
“Brethren, if a man be overtaken in a fault, ye which are spiritual, restore such an one in the spirit of meekness; considering thyself, lest thou also be tempted.” -
Matthew 18:15 (KJV):
“Moreover if thy brother shall trespass against thee, go and tell him his fault between thee and him alone: if he shall hear thee, thou hast gained thy brother.” -
Revelation 2:20 (KJV):
“Notwithstanding I have a few things against thee, because thou sufferest that woman Jezebel, which calleth herself a prophetess, to teach and to seduce my servants to commit fornication, and to eat things sacrificed unto idols.”

Leader Word of the Day: Submit to God’s Word, Not Man’s Traditions
The day of authoritarian, prideful gatekeeping is over. God calls us to mutual respect, submission to His Holy Word, and godly love — affirming every member of His Body.
Let us return to First Church principles: organic, communal, humble, and spirit-filled — where women serve openly and power is exercised in love and grace, not control and fear.

Historical Roots of Anti-Woman Attitudes in the Church
TD’S OWN PERSONALLY “GOD REVEALED” ROOT BIBLE SCRIPTURES (from this subcultural long time study)
Key Scripture:
Psalm 144:7-11 (KJV)
“Stretch forth thy hand from above; rid me, and deliver me out of great waters, from the hand of strange children;
Rid me, and deliver me from the hand of strange children, whose mouth speaketh vanity, and their right hand is a right hand of falsehood.”
Teaching Points:
-
Witch trials and the Malleus Maleficarum influenced church attitudes toward women.
-
Puritanical suspicion of women shaped American church culture, seen in Salem Witch Trials.
-
These occultish mindsets persist and influence some modern ministries.
Discussion Questions:
-
How do historical events like witch trials still impact church culture today?
-
What dangers arise from “subjective spiritual assessments” of women?
-
How can we combat inherited false traditions with biblical truth?
Session 4: Biblical Protocol for Ministry Correction and Restoration
Key Scripture:
Isaiah 1:18 (KJV)
“Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.”

“Brethren, if a man be overtaken in a fault, ye which are spiritual, restore such an one in the spirit of meekness; considering thyself, lest thou also be tempted.”
Matthew 18:15 (KJV)
“Moreover if thy brother shall trespass against thee, go and tell him his fault between thee and him alone: if he shall hear thee, thou hast gained thy brother.”
Teaching Points:
-
God calls us to restoration and gentle correction, not domination or condemnation.
-
Biblical correction requires humility, private confrontation, and restoration, not public shaming.
-
Respect for one another is central to healthy ministry relationships.
Discussion Questions:
-
What steps does the Bible instruct for dealing with conflict in the church?
-
How does humility factor into restoration and correction?
-
How can we apply these biblical protocols in our churches today?
Session 5: Embracing First Church Principles — Mutual Submission and Unity
Key Scripture:
Ephesians 5:21 (KJV)
“Submitting yourselves one to another in the fear of God.”
1 Corinthians 12:12-14 (KJV)
“For as the body is one, and hath many members, and all the members of that one body, being many, are one body: so also is Christ.
For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit.
For the body is not one member, but many.”
Teaching Points:
-
The body of Christ functions through mutual submission and respect for diversity.
-
There is no hierarchy of value; every member is important.
-
Unity comes from love and the Spirit, not from authoritarian rule.
Discussion Questions:
-
What does mutual submission look like in practice?
-
How can churches promote unity without authoritarianism?
-
How does embracing diversity strengthen the body of Christ?
