“WELP, where is Thy Sting?”
“Taveau, why do you tolerate that controlling, dark, dominating false witchcraft (Jezebel) doctrine subculture??”—A question asked by God to the lampstand head of the Church of Thyatira, back in Revelation 2.
Thus, as a ministry movement overseer, office head, I, the senior lampstand overseer apostle, senior pastor of EORR Cross Body Unity, responded:
“Lord, I do not accept nor tolerate that controlling Jezebel rebellious, non-contrite false doctrine and talebearing, accusing white-witchcraft false authority. And I assess it, and respectfully, Bible-boldly confront it.”
A plenty big series … to be unfolding as time and God permit.
Authority of WELP Theatrics: “We-Centric Poor Me Witchcraft”
These inner “read me, divine” theatrics avoid and refuse to up-front relate, much less confront, in a mature, private, one-to-one, face-to-face Pauline Apostle protocol manner (Galatians 6:1 / Matthew 18:15–16).
—T. D’Arcy, WELP discoveries out in the field, 1991–now.
1. Defining It as We Know It
Frankly, I had been sitting there, trying to hear from God about how to handle the immense, often dangerous problem in my life … when it—the patrolling patriarchal witchcraft spirit of the occult—found me!
It picked me out of an audience, even in mega, multi-campus churches, with the same doctrinally manipulating, cunning, spying, white-witchcraft “ilk”: targeting, gatekeeping, inherited cult witch-watching. Out of this, I coined the term WELP—Western European Levitical Patriarchy in much of ministry.
2. Added Humor for the Targeting Cessationists
For your knowledge, this quiet woman was sitting silently (plus calmly, professionally, in James 3:17 ongoing pure fruit) in those ministry fellowships at the time.
So, it shows itself to be a misogynist, turf-guarding “ye olde spirit.” As Saint Paul wrote in Ephesians:
“We wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against spiritual wickedness in heavenly places.”
3. The Nature of Witchcraft
Believe you me, witchcraft never purely respects, much less relates. It carries another deeper, false, impure religious agenda (see Job 41: “pride hides”).
Instead, it:
-
Worries, gossips, accuses, and attacks.
-
Undermines, plays with our minds, and zeroes in to “pray against” us.
-
Wears down, wars against, and wastes time.
Yet it operates secretively: sullen, controlling, cult-like, minimizing, biased, and lukewarm about carrying the cross.
It is the Anti-Ephesians 4 Pure Community.
It is anti–equal opportunity respect for every human made in God’s image.
It is the famous Anti–1 John 1:7.
It is the non-diverse, counterfeit governance of Ephesians 1:6.
It’s the banal, tawdry, immature “Christian-ese” religion—flat and fault-finding. But as James 3:17 teaches:
“The wisdom from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, easy to be entreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy.”
4. My Lesson: Know Your Accuser
The A.R.T. of WELP (Abiding Relationship Theology) stems from this. “WELP, where is thy sting?”
And yes—ha ha! For so long on the backside of this damnable, 35-year recurring discovery of a mean, prying, unfair religious spirit—desert after desert—I’ve had to discover, recover, and preserve myself.
It has required much humor to remain sound, whole, and joyful in God’s presence.

I’ve never been the same since
It’s as common as turning on the TV and sitting in the pews under some impure controllers false governing authority or occult subliminal cagey turf guarding. Good Ole Boyism**, Good Ole Girlism** more (Note I get to say those terms. I paid a high price to know this. But I respect Christian men AND women, but I must note that the “Spirit of the World System” (often referred as the Boys Club, System, the Girls Club, even I Samuel Eli and both his gifted ministry office sons..”Boys Will Be Boys ” Club was and still reeks of “conniving leader witchcraft”(the cult spirit/use of false authority, conniving, deceit, blocking, power playing to manly get their way)
What is Witchcraft in the Biblical Context?
-
Witchcraft (Hebrew: kashaph – כָּשַׁף)
Witchcraft in the Bible often refers to the use of spiritual power or influence to manipulate or control others outside of God’s will. It includes the use of spells, enchantments, and divination, all of which attempt to control situations or individuals rather than trusting in God’s sovereignty. In the context of ministry, witchcraft can also refer to spiritual manipulation and control using spiritual authority or prophetic influence in a manipulative or coercive manner—especially when it is used for personal gain or to dominate others, rather than to serve and build up the body of Christ.
-
Rebellion as Witchcraft
Rebellion in 1 Samuel 15:23 is described as witchcraft because it involves rejecting God’s established order. When people in positions of leadership (whether in the church or society) use their power to control others through manipulation, fear, or coercion, they are in rebellion against God’s will for leadership and service, which is meant to be rooted in humility, love, and service. -
Stubbornness as Iniquity and Idolatry
Stubbornness refers to refusing to submit to God’s authority, and it is likened to iniquity and idolatry because it sets one’s will above God’s commands. When leaders or individuals in the church refuse to submit to God’s ways, especially in matters of leadership and authority, they are essentially worshiping their own will rather than yielding to God’s design for His people. -
Skilled Manipulation for Gain, Self preserving at another’s expense ,may include, legal , moral, sexual, spiritual, emotional, positional, media, relationship, financial manipulation, abuse of authority, public accusations, gossip, control through fear, and division—can be classified as witchcraft in the Bible, as they involve attempts to manipulate others for personal gain, exert control, and create fear or division within the body of Christ. In 1 Samuel 15:23, rebellion is compared to witchcraft, and stubbornness to iniquity and idolatry, which means these practices—spiritual manipulation, controlling leadership, and the use of fear—are seen as a form of rebellion against God’s order. Let’s break this down in the context of the Bible:
1 Samuel 15:23 (KJV):
“For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry. Because thou hast rejected the word of the Lord, he hath also rejected thee from being king.”
In this verse, rebellion and stubbornness are equated with witchcraft and idolatry. This is because these actions reject God’s authority and His order for how authority and leadership should function.
Classifying These Behaviors as Abuse and Witchcraft:
Human Persons and many Relationships are mostly ‘targeted’ yet not valued.
Persons are “it’s” who are demeaned and. expendable, and mostly classified as “valuable to me for my own selfish purposes, gain, yet others are expendable, profitable to be used, controlled, dominated and possessed for personal pride, power, privilege and use for money.
The behaviors you mentioned align with witchcraft in the biblical sense because they involve manipulating others to achieve personal goals, rejecting God’s authority, and exploiting the trust of others for selfish gain. These forms of control and manipulation fall into the category of spiritual abuse, which is when authority or spiritual influence is used to hurt, dominate, or exploit others.
-
Spiritual Abuse:
-
Spiritual abuse occurs when someone in a position of authority uses spiritual power to control, intimidate, or manipulate others for personal gain or to maintain power. This can include practices like public shaming, undue criticism, isolation, or exclusion of certain people from fellowship based on personal biases. This is a rejection of God’s design for love, where authority is meant to serve, not dominate.
-
-
Witchcraft (Manipulation and Control):
-
Using spiritual influence to control or dominate others—whether through false prophecies, gossip, accusations, or fear-based tactics—is a form of witchcraft, according to 1 Samuel 15:23. These methods of control bypass God’s order of reconciliation and instead promote a culture of manipulation.
-
-
Rebellion and Stubbornness:
-
Rebellion against God’s commands—such as using authority to hurt or control others rather than build them up—is directly associated with witchcraft in the Bible. Leaders who abuse their power and reject God’s principles are seen as acting in rebellion and engaging in witchcraft, as they choose to rely on their own will rather than submitting to God’s way of leading His people.
-
-
Idolatry of Power:
-
Idolatry in this context refers to placing one’s desire for control, power, or authority above God’s will. This can be done subtly, especially in ministry contexts, where leaders may start to view their position as one of dominance or superiority, rather than a call to serve others and build up the body of Christ.
-
OUR OWN TAVEAU D’ARCY + EORR CROSS BODY UNITY MINISTRY MOVE IN HOUSE MEANING OF THE WORD “WITCHCRAFT” EASILY DEFINED (for Christian Person Training)
Examples of Witchcraft and Abuse in Ministry:
-
Using Prophetic Words for Control:
-
A leader may use prophetic words to control the behavior of others, directing them to act in certain ways (e.g., making large financial contributions or following certain personal preferences) without biblical basis or God’s leading.
-
Witchcraft element: The prophecy is not for edification or encouragement but is being used to manipulate others into submission or to secure personal gain.
-
-
Public Accusations Without Reconciliation:
-
Publicly accusing someone (e.g., labeling them as “rebellious,” “Jezebel,” or “unspiritual”) without following the biblical steps for addressing sin (Matthew 18:15-16) or without offering a chance for restoration.
-
Witchcraft element: The accusation is destructive rather than restorative, creating division and fear. This public targeting undermines the body of Christ and harms individuals’ reputations without offering reconciliation or a pathway to healing.
-
-
Abuse of Leadership Power:
-
Leaders using their position to control people’s decisions, isolate them from others, or enforce unbiblical practices through intimidation, guilt, or coercion.
-
Witchcraft element: This is a misuse of authority, as leadership is meant to serve others, not dominate them. The desire for control is placed above the well-being and spiritual health of others.
-
-
Shunning or Excluding Certain People Based on Appearance or Gender:
-
Using spiritual authority to exclude certain individuals from leadership roles or shun them from fellowship based on gender, appearance, or status.
-
Witchcraft element: This perverts the body of Christ, which is meant to be a place of unity and equality. Favoritism based on external characteristics rather than spiritual maturity or calling is a form of rebellion against God’s design for His church.
-
What Witchcraft is NOT:
-
Spiritual discernment and prophecy that are used for building up, comforting, and encouraging others (1 Corinthians 14:3).
-
Healthy leadership that models servant leadership, following biblical principles of humility, grace, and accountability.
-
Reconciliation efforts that seek to restore relationships and resolve conflicts according to Matthew 18 and Galatians 6:1, in a spirit of gentleness and love.
-
Mutual respect and equality within the body of Christ, where leadership serves the body and values the gifts and contributions of all believers, regardless of race, gender, or social status.
Conclusion:
Yes, the behaviors described—spiritual manipulation, control, accusations without reconciliation, and the abuse of authority—align with the biblical definition of witchcraft as rebellion and stubbornness against God’s will. Witchcraft in ministry is not just about overt occult practices but includes any form of spiritual manipulation, abuse of power, or controlling behavior that leads people away from God’s loving and redemptive purposes. To avoid these practices, ministry leaders must embrace servant leadership, seek reconciliation, and follow biblical principles of love, humility, and justice.
