NO, ALL OF THIS is not about being  Psychic,a Claire Voyante, having a “Sixth Sense” …OR being a Mystic…or about “sensing, picking up Vibes… NO. …ALSO…this is only for  the saved Christian*….as it is something which one can develop over time via a RELATIONSHIP, the loving Father God, through Jesus Christ and His free, non dominating,  gift of the Holy Spirit and using Bible, ministry fellowship ongoing balance. HOW TO INWARDLY DISCERN THE VOICE OF THE LORD

ABOVE..JOHN 16:13 …ONE MAJOR KEY PERCEPTION VERSE

“WHEN the Spirit of Truth comes, He will guide you into all truth, for He will not speak of Himself, but whatever He shall hears, He shall speak and He will show you things to come” JOHN 16:13

(JOHN 16:13 is the basic verse behind “discerning inner guidance from the Lord” as well as “inner discerning and perceiving a leader word coming from the Lord, to share, to give, to someone else. AND it is the ROOT for the spirit of prophecy and most importantly the OFFICE of the prophet, but all all of the other 5 fold Book of Ephesians senior offices (Pastor, Apostle, Prophet, Evangelistic, Teacher) each of which I function in, but in various  methods at many different directed God set times.

 

• *How the Holy Spirit of TRUTH comes… Simply, ask Jesus Christ into your heart as Lord and personal Savior. After this happens, then He leaves a free deposit of the guiding, communicating, restful, peaceful, comforting yet directing even can grow into prophetic, Holy True Spirit..NOW this begins a RELATIONSHIP not just a devotion to follow all of the Bible commands, or area authority instructed, even historical or on TV, “required religious rules.”

 

• This is the Way, the basic Bible based real method that I grew up with and eventually felt impressed with a call to God’s Ministry.

• A similar modern analogy: the deposit of the invisible Holy Spirit is similar to the CONCEPT of a deep spiritual “peaceful, guiding’ yet not one bit high tech or mechanical or EASY TO HEAR 100 % completely, as in there is nobody anywhere who will ever be 100% accurate in hearing from, discerning, fully perceiving the MYSTERIOUS Most High Mighty God! (this is an analogy and it is not A REAL GPS!!)

1) Ask/accept Jesus Christ into one’s pure, faith filled perceiving heart. You are required to make Jesus your only Lord and Savior in order to fully /clearly, truly, authentically Discern and get to KNOW Him (not just ABOUT Him) (Eph 1:17) Plus this will take time to develop in awareness.

2.) Jesus gives a free spiritual deposit of Holy Spirit and the Galatians 5:22-23 “fruits of the spirit” There are also ‘spiritual gifts, future callings” yet all of these require time and patience and real relationship growth, Bible study, teaching, …and times apart getting to KNOW the Lord and “trying to learn how to discern accurately” with the Lord (Takes TIME) (coming many articles which can help fill in the gaps on this and make it clear.

ABOVE..it’s the bottom phrase that majorly counts.

ASSESSED PERSONAL ABIDING REQUIREMENTS

FIRST ..We must actively prepare. One method…is to “clear out each of our own “internal runway” for the Holy Spirit to land afresh.” (certainly a rough analogy) See just below:

• Ask Jesus to forgive you and you also need to forgive any one and every one else…as harboring resentment, deep angry,and unforgiveness will block you from clearly ,fully hearing the leading of the inside witness of/to God’s Holy Spirit.

• Please do self introspection. Ask God to disclose any possible sins or areas of hardness of heart.

• Ask God to set you free from any besetting (continuing) bad habits and ongoing sins. (Also, don’t feel bad or ashamed about speaking to someone who is both trustworthy as well as more mature than you are in the Lord.

• Pray and ask God to fill you with His Holy Spirit. Ask for what is called the “infilling of the Holy Spirit” or the “baptism of the Holy Spirit” preferably with the evidence of speaking in a prayer language. And as that is not a dogma …as it is optional. However Taveau recommends it strongly as a great assistance in clarifying what one feels like the Lord is instructing. Thus, if you get a tongue, then pray in the Holy Ghost as much as possible.

• Study the Bible. The best most accurately translated one is the King James Version, the New King James Version or the Amplified or the New American Standard Version. All the others are good but somewhat not as true to the orginal text.

• Sit under good Bible teaching. Go to meetings where they believe the Bible as well as in the power of the supernatural Holy Spirit.

• Pick selectively some good proven Bible teachers to listen to.

• Make sure not to forsake assembling with other mature believers in a house church, Bible study, storefront church, traditional church often. (Hebrews 10:25). Always allow the Holy Spirit to guide you and do not be afraid of examining every doctrine, teaching to compare it with what is in the Holy Bible. That’s called by Apostle Paul being an “honorable Noble Berean”..the Noble Bereans picked apart Apostle Paul’s ministry teaching and compared it to Scripture. And He complemented them as being “more Noble than the rest”. (Modern apostolic translation: Don’t just swallow everybody’s Kool Aide)
• 
• NOTE THE ABOVE…as YOU can (and actually should)  let the Lord reveal to you WHO to sit under, which fellowship to attend and WHICH Bible teaching  YOU allow YOURSELF to be governed with. This is not about being Autocratic and/ or YOUR tolerating being controlled. It’s a Set Time to hear from the mighty GOD for YOUR and MY SELF.And right now, at least in the USA..it’s a free country (for right NOW…)
  

  HERE ARE TWO REASONS WHY TO FELLOWSHIP

1) the Holy Spirit moves and releases Bible teaching revelation differently when a group believers is gathered than in one or two individuals. The power, the anointing, of God’s Holy Spirit is more evident in a united group than in one or two.

2) Example of one person standing, worshiping God alone versus several worshipping God in a united larger group or church: can be contrasted to what happens when you try to break a SINGLE PENCIL. One pencil alone may be easily broken into by the pressure placed on it. When a bunch of pencils is banded together, it is far harder to put enough pressure on it to break it.

• “There are many voices in the world and each one has significance” I Corinthians 14:10...This passage is where the apostle Paul speaks to the church about the gifts of the Holy Spirit, including the spirit of prophecy, which one needs to judge whenever a prophetic message is given. There are so many types of voices in the church world today.

• There are the outer voices; people, TV sets, radio, internet, chat rooms, prophetic words, words of advice from friends and family, not to mention cell phones and voice mail.

• There are what I call the “inward voices”: what your own mind tells you, memories, dreams, feelings, spooky, weird feelings, supernatural sensations, some good and others bad. There are Bible teachings, the beliefs of many different religions, including the psychic and the Biblical prophetic and Bible teaching streams.
• 

Q. How can a person figure out the “voice” that really comes from God?

JOHN 16:13 “claim for yourself that “God will guide YOU into ALL truth ..in every area of  YOUR life, ministry, business, family, decisions, etc

• You have to know what the Bible says about finding out which voice is that of “the good shepherd that gives life to His sheep.”

• The Bible teaches that “discernment comes by reason of use.” That means that you will need to have some trial and many error periods as you practice discerning which is the leading of the voice of the Holy Spirit.

• Most persons never hear an audible “voice.” That is very rare. The Bible tells us in ___ that God does not speak through the whirlwind, etc but in the still small voice of God

• The Bible talks about discerning the “inward witness of the Holy Spirit. “ i
  It takes a lot of time spent in the prayer closet, finding out about God in The Secret Place of the Most High (see Psalm 91) to get aquainted with the voice of the Good Shepherd

• James 3:17 is a favorite “deciding if it’s God or not” verse. It’s a really great one to help determine if a message, piece of advice, prophetic word, Bible teaching, or even radio or television program or internet site, piece of music is really from GOD.
  .

• James 3: 17 “The wisdom of God is first above pure, then peaceable, easily entreated, full of mercy, without partiality, and without hypocrisy.”

• The message or prophetic word, Bible teaching or voice that gives you advice should not make you AFRAID or feel SPOOKY.

• A word, message that comes from the Lord, might be sober or strong, but not spooky. The message would never disagree with what the Bible teaches.

• James says that the wisdom of God is first of all “pure.”It does not come from an unholy source with an unholy or perverted, lust driven, or have false, deceptive motives. The Bible states that the word must be “peaceable’ this means that it will not have the fruit of ‘fear or make you feel worried, upset or anxiousness.

• The devil is the one who puts fear into our hearts and minds. This is proved by I Timothy 1:7, “God has not given you a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.”

• A message that comes from God or from a person or prophet, Bible teacher or acquaintance, TV program or internet site must be also” easily entreated.” This means that it will allow others to have a different opinion. It will not be a critical judgmental or dogmatic word or bossy. It won’t argue to prove it’s point or have a need to always be “right.”

• Know the fruits of the Holy Spirit in Galatians 5: 22-23“The fruits of the Spirit are love, joy, peace, patience, goodness, meekness, temperance, In them there is no law.”

• The fruit of the Holy Spirit’s voice, message or television/radio message has to contain some of the fruit of the Spirit.

• There will never be racial or religious prejudice, respecter of persons, cursing, anger, mean spirited or deception.

• The pure messages that are from God will not manipulate to get their own way neither will they create division or superstition.

• Faith based messages, love based messages, are the opposite of fear based messages or supposed “words from God.”
• 

• Dark versus light: Observe..what is the fruit of what goes on deep inside your mind or heart after you hear a certain message, piece of advice or judge a prophetic word? Does it make you feel dark, oppressed, depressed or worried? Or does it bring you joy or leave you feeling peaceful, even when the message is a sober wake up call?

• The peace of God should encapsulate His messages with a protective invisible coating of God’s peace in the Spirit. The word, message, voice should not contradict God’s Word in the Bible.

• Be sure to check any message by 2 TIMOTHY 1:7 “God has not given me a spirit of fear, but of power, love and a sound mind.” Meaning….Any inner our outer voice, message, teaching, prophecy will never make one feel fear, afraid, worried, anxious or depressed, defeated, powerless..

NOTE TO THE WISE LEADER

We understand that each of the above mentioned  are not “fast food formulas.”Or guaranteed automatic, immediate, and/or  100% accurate hearing from the Lord, OR ” as God never works like that. HE demands time, pure hearts and a trust in HIS timing, ways and directions..all of which are about OBEDIENCE to His direct…

Also these are my very own time repeatedly tested, hopefully  helpful Tips and admittedly just a from this writers perspective and just a basic few.
