PSALM 132..Prophet David on the rugged prophetic, Kingdom Business Accuser Front Lines..
PRIOR TO BE WORLD WIDE RENOWN…

 

• PSALM 132 Verses 1-5: The times of much sacrifice, many tragedies, sorrows, narrow escapes and human relationship drama and deep intrigue…persecution accusation and near death narrow escapes. 

132 Lord, remember David, and all his afflictions:

2 How he sware unto the Lord, and vowed unto the mighty God of Jacob;

3 Surely I will not come into the tabernacle of my house, nor go up into my bed;

4 I will not give sleep to mine eyes, or slumber to mine eyelids,

5 Until I find out a place for the Lord, an habitation for the mighty God of Jacob.

PSALM 132:6-8:  Despite the need for rugged endurance, suffering deprivation and hardship..there is accomplishment and times of victorious praise and worship. V. 8 David alludes to his practice of worshipping the Almighty God..despite ..and where ever. This reveals Davids holy reverence and respect along with his need for RELATIONSHIP with the Loving Leading (non Legalistic) Lord.

6 Lo, we heard of it at Ephratah: we found it in the fields of the wood.

7 We will go into his tabernacles**: we will worship at his footstool.

(**90’s on humorous remark..we note the PLURAL “Tabernacles” ..and modern day Pharisees would circulate area rumors that David was a “critical undermining Tabernacle Hopper” and “unsubmitted”(to their Back under the Law Levitical governing authority)

8 Arise, O Lord, into thy rest; thou, and the ark of thy strength.

V. 8 PROPHETIC PSALMIST AND PROPHET, evidently discerned the comfort and peace  and appears to have noticed, discerned the realms of the presence of God’s Holy Spirit

9 Let thy priests be clothed with righteousness**; and let thy saints shout for joy.

**SR PASTORS, APOSTLES, TRUE APOSTLES, BISHOPS,TEMPLE PRIESTS…”Let us note the effect of the MATURE OFFICE MINISTRY LEADER’S heart/life  CHARACTER  apparently has on the many people out in  God’s fellowshipping congregation!

 

PSALM 132: 10-12  It appears that David understands his many various weaknesses, and in this passage subtly seems to acknowledged  falling short of perfection, of missing the mark.  There seems to be a RELATIONSHIP back and forth and God’s forward revelation, even His promises 

10 For thy servant David’s sake turn not away the face of thine anointed.

11 The Lord hath sworn in truth unto David; he will not turn from it; Of the fruit of thy body will I set upon thy throne.

12 If thy children will keep my covenant and my testimony that I shall teach them, their children shall also sit upon thy throne for evermore.

PSALM 132: 13-14 AS PSALMIST DAVID WORSHIPS THE LORD with all of his heart, he blesses the Lord for favoring and desiring the  land of  Israel… It seems that the Eternal Father Creator  God..makes it clear to  David about His holy love and view regarding making that Chosen Land..his dwelling place..

13 For the Lord hath chosen Zion; he hath desired it for his habitation.

14 This is my rest for ever: here will I dwell; for I have desired it.

PSALM 132: 15-18 GOD PROMISES TO BLESS THE NATION OF ISREAL..but to me, it also can be  imply a word for the Believer….and the Minister Spiritual Trailblazer, Pioneer..

15 I will abundantly bless her provision: I will satisfy her poor with bread.

16 I will also clothe her priests with salvation**: and her saints shall shout aloud for joy. 

V 16..Another High Priest, Sr pastor, Office aside…we note how the heart, soul, attitude of the HEAD OF THE MINISTRY OR FELLOWSHIP has on the SAINTS who fellowship there..It seems to be directly related. I would ask the Lord about this .

PSALM 132: 17-18.. AFTER ALL THE HARD WORK, HEART ACHE, TIMES OF ENDURING, REPEATED SACRIFICE, PAIN…then the HOLY LORD “builds the Prophet, Prophetic DAVID into the Mature LEADER that HE has called him to become. NOW, the rising persecuted King is READY TO REAP, GET  RAISED UP…AND SURELY WILL BE RECOMPENSED AND REVIVE, FLOURISH AND REIGN.

17 There will I make the horn of David to bud: I have ordained a lamp for mine anointed.

18 His enemies will I clothe with shame: but upon himself shall his crown flourish.
