T HONOR’S HER OWN MOTHER ( AND EVERYONE ELSES)
NOTE: This comes from (C)2013 www.amazinggoodeats.wordpress.com
I BRING THIS RECIPE OUT TO. HONOR My DEAR WELL BRED MOTHER..(AND ALL OF THE (countless) OTHER SWEET TOOTHED DEAR MOTHERS!)
‘Honoring My Dear (when this photo was taken) 89 Year Old Mother’s Sweet Tooth”*NOTE Mom is now at Home up in Heaven with the Lord..and her dear husband Kimball..and the LORD….which is SWEETER even than these infamous JOHNSON SWEET TOOTH (was her continual) FAVORITE
NOTE: And so STRONG was Dr Taveau’s dear Mother’s SWEET TOOTH that when she relocated up to Heaven in 2016, that TD made her a VICTORY (ICE CREAM CONE) Blog in her honor : https://victoryconeblog.wordpress.com/

“THE” FAMILY (TRADITIONAL) BROWNIES
DULY NOTE: this recipe was the very first/and ONLY memory that this writer had/still has of her dear mother’s own cooking… perhaps the first 12 years of my life. Yet my mother worked, taught school, co pastored and meticulously mothered, so “family cooking” was simply just NOT her “big gift.” AND this general fact makes even the memories of her time and time again, Baker’s dark chocolate melted squares, and vast quantities of refined sugar even SWEETER (get the pun?)
My Mother’s Brownies (‘AKA “THE” FAMILY BROWNIES) were baked nearly 100 percent of EACH and EVERY SINGLE time ended each Company Entertaining Invited Guest Meal (see prior 2 EAST COAST SEAFOOD DELUXE DINNER for suggestions)
AND our own private special family occasions, which were usually laid back, casual , rather spontaneous and happy FUN.
BUT INDEED: there were (many) times when the CHOCOLATE HOLIC , SUGAR EATING inherited trait would (and still does but no longer on this side of the family tree!)
Yet, while today we may view it as nearly lethal, in honor of my dear amazing (at this penning) nearly 90 (!!) but lively, dear mother I will share this.
HUMOROUS INTENDED ASIDE:
(Come to think of it..PERHAPS all of this sugar (favorite Texas Braum’s Icecream also) is what has kept her alive and fired up until THIS exact point!!) Meant as HAHAHA
WARNING: THIS IS NOT FOR A WELLNESS PERSON and it is NOT FOR THE FAINT AT HEART: Therefore Wellness healthy eater readers: hold on to YOUR arteries as well as glycemic indexes…
YET I enclose this recipe on purpose due to family holiday gatherings, as it is so over the top sweet, buttery that it needs to be divided into small pieces….however my Mothers, sister and that family branch still uses this topped with their favorite Braum’s Ice Cream (Mint chocolate chip, vanilla OR any other)
“THE” FAMILY (TRADITION) BROWNIES
1 C white flour
2 sticks of butter
4 C refined sugar
2 8 ounce packages of Bakers semi-sweet chocolate
1/2 TBL Vanilla
8 eggs
MELT the butter and semi-sweet chocolate in a double boiler.
IN A MIXING BOWL: beat the eggs, vanilla, and refined sugar
NEXT, add the butter/chocolate mixture
Use a spatula to combine all the ingredients.
MANY OPTIONS: Add pecans, walnuts, chocolate chips, big chocolate chunks, mint chips,
PREHEAT oven to 350
BUTTER a 13×9 baking pan.
COOK about 25 minutes(but keep checking from 15-20 on)
OUR clan preferred them super creamy in the middle, almost next to uncooked….(for that extra fudgy experience), but Standard for Brownie Beauty AND what is deemed to be an EXACT RIGHT amount of fudginess is all up to the TASTER.
TASTES GREAT warm out of the oven and with vanilla ice cream (or ANY OTHER preferred kind) on top (OF COURSE!)
