FROM This one grass roots active Christ follower, JESUS human type PERSON: to the best of my recollection, from one living on the EAST COAST …I strongly recall ONLY HYMNS until…(she was also finally RELAXING and with a sigh of RELIEF…SELAH: Having already grown her hair extremely long…)

• TELL IT LIKE IT IS (Southern Baptist Christian Musical) Used to love the moving “PASS IT ON”..this also was amidst Preacher BILLY GRAHAM holding crusades amidst a ever BIG EMERGING exceedingly DIFFERENT CULTURE.**

 

• **WHICH from this TIMELY vantage point I assess as prior to RELIGIOUS WE ARE CERTAINLY RIGHT and/or MORAL MAJORITY and when there was NO nation wide mudslinging using CRITICAL ACCUSATIVE RIGHT WING VS LEFT WING MEDIA(…..hmmmmmmmm…..?)

 

• YET there was PLENTY of growing UNREST on college campuses due primarily to USA participation in the Vietnamese War PLUS Civil Rights movements.

 

• FYI…FLASHING MESSAGES ON T SHIRTS (and/or on bumper stickers!) had just become accepted as the Height of Assessed FASHION…AND NOTE….WE OBSERVED the pioneering START of the TREND….SO…Please observe 2 OF MY VERY OWN ,more recent, issue..:)!

But then it became THE THING to have PRAISE AND WORSHIP folk type peaceful worship (usually ACOUSTIC) basic GATHERINGS. If I Could Pick just a few TOP CHORUS OF THAT DAY…indeed THE ASSESSED BIGGIES: Alleluiah, I Exalt Thee, Praise the Name of JESUS,ETC ….

 

…..developing later into full out SONGS..Out from the eventual LEFT COAST (emerging California) somewhere emerged apostolic John Wimber and THE VINEYARD entire loving music, worship,abiding fellowship FLOW …

 

and MANY MORE who (not Vineyard) WROTE BEAUCOUPS of random amazing lay, leader WORSHIP SONGS… Supreme Examples: Give Thanks With A Greatful Heart, As the Deer Panteth for the Waters, ETC and peaceful Jack Hayford’s MARANANTHA(late 60’s-70’s onward)..Closely followed by HOSANNA INTEGRITY music movement in the 80’s -90’s …till modern NOW.

 

WE NOTE: that at this same TIME the Vietnam War,Civil Rights movement, many student protests..amidst, all the Hard Edged,acid rock, Free Love, LSD, TV MEDIA … were also begining to EMERGE and many who came to accept the Lord JESUS CHRIST as their SAVIOR then used what they had learned over in the SECULAR WORLD into SOME of what the HOLY SPIRIT was doing and attempting to GROW… (NOTE: See USA ROCK HISTORY now series http://www.dfwleader.org ..

BENEATH: (mostly from 1990’s) This comes from ONE of Dr T’s OWN PERSONAL ALL TIME FAV (riding, fully enjoying..) CD’S Which is no longer available. DR CHRISTIAN HARFOUCHE MINISTRIES(was a Double CD)…”SPIRIT SONGS”) THIS plus the SONIC FLOOD SILVER CD (which I previously shared ONE SONG of on VOL 1) ..feeling perhaps the UK’s DELIRIOUS #3.... are TD’S ALL OUT TOPS…for (BIG QUALITY ..though more ANCIENT) repeated deeply ANOINTED amazing AUDIO! CURRENTLY in her CAR CD, T has JOHN MARK MCMILLAN, JESUS CULTURE …but needs to add a few submitted WORTHY more..
