Part 3 PSALM 138 PROPHETIC KINGDOM BUSINESS ONGOING BIBLE STUDY

If you missed PART 2 of King David’s PSALM 138, try to find time to go back and read it.
Pioneering King David RULED, advanced God’s KINGDOM on the earth and lived his life similar in a similar fashion to the way many of US do: He applied ongoing business planning and planting PRINCIPALS, while at the same time encountering repeated, warring, hostile ADVERSARIES.

 

To Refresh, read PSALM 138, in it’s entirety:
“I will praise thee with my whole heart: before the gods will I sing praise unto thee.
2 I will worship toward thy holy temple, and praise thy name for thy lovingkindness and for thy truth: for thou hast magnified thy word above all thy name.
3 In the day when I cried thou answeredst me, and strengthened me with strength in my soul.
4 All the kings of the earth shall praise thee, O Lord, when they hear the words of thy mouth.
5 Yea, they shall sing in the ways of the Lord: for great is the glory of the Lord.
6 Though the Lord be high, yet hath he respect unto the lowly: but the proud he knoweth afar off.
7 Though I walk in the midst of trouble, thou wilt revive me: thou shalt stretch forth thine hand against the wrath of mine enemies, and thy right hand shall save me.
8 The Lord will perfect that which concerneth me: thy mercy, O Lord, endureth for ever: forsake not the works of thine own hands.” KJV

ON the last blog, we covered PSALM 138:1-3. TODAY we’ll over verses 4-8, Line Upon Line:

 
V. 4 ALL THE KINGS OF THE EARTH SHALL PRAISE THEE, O LORD WHEN THEY HEAR THE WORDS OF THY MOUTH.
• OUR definition of a KING: a ruler, overseer, Big Chief, tribal head, founding leader/business person;
• A Kingdom Spiritual/Natural God Sent Pioneer (Pioneering king or queen) is a apostolic work birther (aka senior pioneering leader) “unique individual” who cannot make big PROGRESS or remain in government WITHOUT:
• A wise, mature NATURAL big Game Plan, as well as a SUPERNATURAL overall Father God, high called, anointed skill;
• A chiefly talented, over all high called, gifted leader endurance, over all STRENGTH
• A solid, foundational apostolic MASTER ABILITY to function on many levels, including big problem resolving with NATURAL (practical/hands on), an ability to think on one’s feet, and hopefully, clever CREATIVE wisdom.
• A natural REAL RULER must know how to problem resolve, to deal ENORMOUS hindering pressures, including UNUSUAL enemy sent GIANTS, which often means extra large EGOS or self centered counterfeits, real life ENEMIES.
• EVERY BUSINESS/ MINISTRY PIONEERING “KING/QUEEN” daily, even hourly, will often have their OWN natural MIND under seige with the (fearsome?) KNOWLEDGE of their OWN many levels of pioneering selfless DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES.
• Since EVERY head leader fully recognizes that each proverbial “BUCK” stops with THEM, even if they are BLESSED with the apostolic luxury of having Responsible Others delegate to, as the Official Head Pioneering Leader, be they Business/Ministry King or Queen, each human leader stands “ALONE” at the TOP…either with or without GOD.
• We can picture the shape of a PYRAMID. To the blissful OUTSIDER, the Top Chief CEO, PASTOR, Pioneering Founder POSITION appears to have the LEADER standing tall ATOP what can be a GIANT Pioneering Well Known Call.

• Yet, if one interviews the APOSTOLIC MINISTRY/PROPHETIC BUSINESS Head, one will realize that THEY feel like they are at the BOTTOM of some giant inverted PYRAMID, whose POINT aims directly at THEM: meaning that they clearly realize that ULTIMATELY GOD, their DEPENDENTS and all of the BILL COLLECTORS each hold ONLY THEM totally and FINALLY RESPONSIBLE.

 
• THERE CHIEF, FOUNDING, PIONEERING WORK is with each one of them 24/7 /365 big heavy duty position of trust with great responsibility, thus requires EMOTIONAL, PHYSICAL, and TRUE SPIRITUAL (including SUPERNATURAL) great saving GRACE along with God’s STAYING POWER.

 

 

• MANY times, the ability to manage great family, business and personal Life Pressures, in addition to what may often be ENORMOUS supernatural unhealthy RESISTANT FORCES, usually comes with a HIGH price.
• Encountering what the Bible describes as “the CARES of this world, the PRIDE of over all Life, the LUST for OTHER important things,” can “choke the fruit/power of God’s( internalized) WORD, blocking it from manifesting God’s PROMISES of His power, even big PROVISION.
• In addition, ALL of the above: daily, hourly, weekly then yearly, (Minus GOD!) will slowly turn even a happy spiritual camper, assumed to be Godly contented, Big Energy pioneering big leader, king or queen (every so SLOWLY) into going, then becoming, PAST being simply a sober, wise decision maker, a family first responsible pioneer, into ultimately what becomes a rigid, overly tense, emotionally hard, judging critic, who sadly turns self important, stays too busy and who is unable to take off mentally. (And GOD FORBID, that either you, the reader, or this writer, ever falls this far…)
• Thus, as business, ministry leader pressures are allowed to ACCUMULATE without any Godly ESCAPE HATCH, then MANY become heavily BURDENED, are apt to turn to other means to find an ESCAPE from all of the emotional BUILD UP.

 

• MATURE, WISE, SELF REFLECTIVE/ INTROSPECTIVE leaders of course, will prioritize the ongoing habit of turning to the LORD during their TIMES of great PRESSURE.
• Spiritual warfare, plus NATURAL life issues are best remedied with God directed REFRESHING SABBATH HOURS, PARTIAL DAYS or COMPLETE MANY DAYS apart…doing natural things like family fun, maintaining WELLNESS FITNESS, and actively pursuing ALL Bible remedies, including
• 1) Making a list of all of our CARES, BURDENS, DEEP ANXIETIES and giving them ALL over to the LORD.
• 2) Fellowshipping with some of the saints for FUN, FELLOWSHIP and in…..
• 3) Deep worship in the GLORY (the internal overcoming STRESS RELIEF/ manifest power, peace and rich transforming presence) of the Supernatural Lord God. )
Sadly, MANY who do not either truly KNOW the Lord, and what His Word provides, may turn to wrong companionship, alcohol, even drugs or may turn into an emotional powder keg, which may fly off the handle into carnal fits of RAGE.
• Many become quick to judge, due to slowly becoming very hard, mentally skeptical and emotionally TOUGH, sadly even CALLOUSED, often very VERY TIRED, which can even cause some to succumb to a human (even leader) temptation: to turn self pitying,even VICTIMIZED.
• The reader may have already noticed, that the most of the time, the very HIGH VISIBILITY leader (be it in a small work or very large) is usually appears very DIGNIFIED, emotionally GUARDED even deeply SOMBER. The writer believes this is due to all that we have described just above.

 

NOW, with all the above having been said, lets review Verse 4, “ALL OF THE (LEADER) KINGS WILL PRAISE THEE….”
Q. WHAT would cause a SOBER, SERIOUS, KINGDOM BUSINESS REAL WORLD minded Godly MAN or LEADER FEMALE, to “sing a praise to the Lord?” ( Mentally try to picture warring business kings perhaps lifting up their HANDS in worship to the LORD, singing, clapping,etc)
To the writer, this implies, that they must be taking their MIND OFF each of their worries and cares, getting OUT of themselves and moving TOWARD THE LORD. As as by product, GOD has touched them, replaced TENSION with His PRESENCE and REST, and now they are NOT so tremendously CARE RIDDEN and over critically STRESSED or even SOMBER)
A. V. 4 Tells us WHAT will make a BUSINESS LEADER SMILE AND PRAISE THE LORD….ta daaa……drum roll……”WHEN THEY HEAR THE WORDS FROM THY MOUTH”
The writer fully believes that Bible verse reveals: that ALL a heart heavy, care laden, money making possibly minded, pressure filled Pioneering KING or QUEEN needs is just ONE KEY ENCOURAGING, (RHEMA) WORD from the LORD.

Q. SO WHERE and HOW can a heavily pressured MINISTRY /APOSTOLIC BUSINESS, ENTREPRENEUR, AKA Apostolic KING, get that WORD FROM THE LORD?

 
The writer will submit a few Bible based suggestions:
• IMPORTANT KEY: Every single time we start to get alone with the Lord, or to try to hear from Him, or enter into a worship /Bible teaching service, the writer finds it tremendously practical, empowering to TAKE TIME before, to make a list of all BURDENS, CARES, WORRIES, FEARS and then hand them over to the Lord BEFORE you go in to hear, to receive something FROM the Lord, the worship, etc.
• FIRST LOVE LIFE STYLE FIRST PLACE PRIORITY: Time alone with the Lord in a First Love Ongoing, Time Apart, Relationship/ Visiting alone with God in your I Kings 19:9 Prophetic Cave (aka Psalm 91 Secret Place); Spend the time as GOD reveals: simply sitting, resting OR with praise music on, and when HE says, have a Bible close by.
• Instead of remaining in Outer Court SURFACE praise, find a place to go DEEPER into the presence and peace of WORSHIP , in order to feel His touch, His rest, and to often experience a deep encounter with Him. This will include even major anointed STRESS RELIEF during times of praise and worship in God’s supernatural rest, peace, and refiring power “

 

(FOR THE READER WHO DOES NOT WANT TO GO THERE. Reminder: the psalmist David played under God’s powerful anointing and even without BIble teaching/Spoken Sermon “the anointing broke the yoke” of oppression off of King Saul.
WRITERS ASIDE: “Feeling a Holy Spirit comfort, touch, refreshing, stress relief is akin to a “God the Father Supernatural PERCEIVED (internal invisible) Hug.”
• Thus, this perhaps should to our personal life motto: “Better a legal, safe, free, Godly supernatural Holy Spirit Hug, than turning to abusive rage, excessive fun/food, alcohol or DRUGS.”

 

• HOT TIP: Ask God to direct YOU to specific meetings, conferences, and even ONLINE meetings, And MORE.
VERSE 5 “Yea, they shall sing in the ways of the Lord: for great is the glory of the Lord.”
The Writer Submits the following to the focused reader:
• Perhaps the REASON the dignified Senior Leader Ministry/Pioneering Business wise KINGS are singing “IN the WAYS of the Lord.” is….
• A) Due to what we mentioned (above) in all of VERSE 4
• B) They each perhaps had a STRONG TOUCH (encounter) directly with the LORD in the PRESENCE His GLORY*. (*Gods Glory is the manifest presence, peace and power of the Lord)
• WHATEVER really happened to make each reserved business King FREED UP ENOUGH to let loose and really WORSHIP and SING?
• The writer also wonders if GOD, “the Revealer of Secrets” (Daniel 2:28) REVEALED (spiritually communicated, really deeply showed) to THEM during that time in His Presence, that that HE had ALL of their REAL LIFE ISSUES under HIS eagle CONTROL .
• Also HE then may have TOUCHED each one of THEM with His invisible supernatural POWER of REST and deep life JOY.
VERSE 6 Though the Lord be high, yet hath he has respect unto the lowly: but the proud he knoweth afar off.

 

VERSE 6:
• THE LORD RESPECTS the HUMBLE HEART POSITION far more than He does vast ACHIEVEMENT, human POWER, earthly BIG TITLES, OVER SEER/LEADER RANK, or BUSINESS KING POSITION.

 
• And that being stated, we must assume that God really RESPECTS and PAYS CLOSE ATTENTION to the (many) PRAYERS of the pioneering Business/Ministry Chief Leader, who bears pure fruit of a truly Humble, Teachable, Closely Attentive, Yielded, Obedient Servant Heart.
• Yet, God apparently maintains His distance from ANY arrogant, puffed up,vain, proud, superior,all-knowing, overly stiff necked, Enthroned Huge Ego.
VERSE 7 Though I walk in the midst of trouble, thou wilt revive me: thou shalt stretch forth thine hand against the wrath of mine enemies, and thy right hand shall save me

 

VERSE 7: “THOU I WALK IN THE MIDST OF TROUBLE”
• . The PROMISE of the Lord is WHENEVER “I walk through TROUBLE”: implying, that there WILL be trouble during this life on earth, even at different times, PLENTY OF IT. …AND that at times, we will perhaps become discouraged and deeply weary ( depleted).
VERSE 7: “THOU WILT REVIVE ME”
• YET God uses the word REVIVE..HE (meaning HE truly sees, HE takes it on as HIS personal responsibility to SUPPLY NEW ENERGY, SUPERNATURAL HOPE and POWER…in only HIS mysterious fashion, by OUR OWN Trust, true apostolic Faith, and RELIANCE totally upon HIM.

 
V.7 “THOU SHALT STRETCH FORTH THY RIGHT HAND AGAINST THE WRATH OF MY ENEMIES”
• GOD sees. GOD truly knows. HE reacts on our behalf, as we intensely PRAY, then use our applied FAITH to BELIEVE and to TRUST.
V. 7 “THOU SHALT STRETCH FORTH THY RIGHT HAND” and “THY RIGHT HAND SHALL SAVE ME.”
• The use of the words “RIGHT HAND” is a symbol, a sign of God’s STRENGTH and undergirding, specifically GUARDING, supernatural MIGHT and power.
• Historically the soldier’s RIGHT HAND carried the sword.
VERSE 8 The Lord will perfect that which concerneth me: thy mercy, O Lord, endureth for ever: forsake not the works of thine own hands.

 

V. 8 THE LORD WILL PERFECT THAT WHICH CONCERNS ME

• MAIN KEY: THE LORD WILL…(inferring WE DON’T HAVE WHAT IT TAKES to perfect business /life important leader things for OURSELVES. Meaning: the GOOD NEWS is that GOD WILL perfect that which concerns each and every Big or Little Pioneering business/ministry true prophetic KING.
V. 8 “THAT WHICH CONCERNS ME”…remember, make a BIG LIST of all cares, worries, burdens, then give them all over to the LORD to be fully responsible for.
Probably the best, briefest, OVER VIEW of Verse 8 is simply, “ONLY BELIEVE, ONLY BELIEVE…..”
V. 8 THY MERCY, O LORD, ENDURES FOREVER
• Thy MERCY, O LORD: DAVID, remained Totally TRUE to HIMSELF and to the LORD, and though he stumbled greatly, and continually warred against MANY life threatening enemies, it did not seem to block David’s faith that GOD was right there WITH HIM …..through every step of the way.
• When KING DAVID admitted his own flaws and big Life mistakes (even great MURDEROUS ones) directly before the HOLY LORD GOD, all of David’s MANY past close, personal experiences with the LOVING KINDNESS of the LORD enabled him to TRUST, to through his Faith RECEIVE: the Lord’s great MERCY towards HIM.
• Pioneering King David’s deep life long unwavering BELIEF and TRUST in God’s enduring Love and Mercy was NEVER ever shaken.
• The writer’s over all impression of pioneering KING DAVID? That whenever David was by himself, with no one else there before the Lord, that HE would cast aside all of his worldly accolades, of elevated position and invested power, then humble himself: taking time before the Lord to (nonaccusatively) self judge and to really repent.
• Before the WORLD David was “well known” as the MIghty Prophet, Priest and Ruling Business KING…yet by himself, all alone before and WITH the Lord, the same “FAMOUS” King David, was forever and always just a simple, humble psalmist -country shepherd.

 

 

• The writer believes that one secret of King David’s ongoing FAITH was his true HUMILITY, that self recognized that no matter WHO praised him, WHO liked him or WHO hated him, that ALL of these earthly LIFE matters would one day cease: and that on the Last Day, David, just like each reader and this writer, would stand entirely ALONE before God’s THRONE.

 

V 8 FORSAKE NOT THE WORK OF YOUR HANDS.
V. 8 THROUGHOUT this entire PSALM 138, David, God’s hand picked national pioneering Leader, over the nation of Israel,points out the MANY reasons for pressure laden pioneering Leaders to turn TOWARD the Lord when Life’s problems arise. He reveals the secret of gaining the Heavenly Father’s attention: pure hearted, “no other god’s before Him’ true HUMILITY.
Yet, as David closes in verse 8, it is implied that perhaps he is still in the midst of some great pioneering Fiery Trial.
AND, once again, David has run TOWARD the Lord, rather than straying or willfully running AWAY from HIM.
• While we note David’s life long, steady FOCUS on the Holy, Ever Strong, Ever Present,Time Tested GOD, the last verses of PSALM 138 give out an impression that David was perhaps, RIGHT THERE in the MIDDLE of a (possibly) GIANT ISSUE.

 

• In Verse 8, David, who has been leading the reader and expounding on the mighty power, qualities of the LORD, now puts in what resembles to be a “personal prayer REQUEST” ( meaning: as if some battle is going on somewhere in his life and he is near death’s door)
Ruling King David reminds the Lord /ASKS the LORD “do not forsake the work of Your hands.” ( truly humble words for asking the Lord “Please, help me one more time to get out of this awful MESS.”

And surely GOD DID answer his prayer: David won his victory and evidently continued to write MORE PSALMS! ( meaning that this was PSALM 138 and David stopped at Psalm 150…Writer’s mischievous attempt at ha ha…)
